ADDENDUM O.J. Simpson Civil Trial
|
 |
|
 |
In a petition filed in January 1979, in Juvenile Court 2851 Meadow Lark Drive, San Diego, Ca, I was the only person charged;
Failure to Protect, It was reported to the Juvenile court investigator Betsy Sue Scott and C.P.S. workers Ann Hutton and Ms.
Swain. The misconduct of sheriff's deputies in Fallbrook, responding to 911 calls placed by Rachel my wife. They did not follow
department policy and procedure, resulting in her nervous breakdown and my son being injured. That deputies did acknowledge
being active members, of the Ku Klux Klan in Fallbrook. A deputy claimed they had fellow brethren in Hollywood and L.A. police
departments. In addition, I did receive a death threat from one of the deputies and was prevented from speaking to personnel
in the policemen citizens review board. So I moved to housing on base and filed my complaint via mail and faxes.

ADDENDUM

Dear Ms. Hayslett,
Yesterday I mailed to you an eight page account that began with a conversation I had with Chief District Attorney Jenkins
at the beginning of the O.J. Simpson trial. I attempted to convince him -based on my own unfortunate experiences with the
police in Fallbrook and Encinitas- that racism and conspiracy issues needed to be looked at carefully. He refused to give
me either the name or phone number of the defense team for Mr. Simpson--stating that he was no under oath and had no obligation
to do so.
The purpose of mt eight page account was to 1) share my own experience of police misconduct and conspiracy with you, and
to underscore the fact that there are indeed some police who are members of the Ku Klux Klan, that they regularly disregard
proper police procedure which have had dire consequences, 2) that there is a connection between Fallbrook Police and LAPD
because they share Camp Pendleton's "Quick Kill Range and Combat Town facilities"-- regularly used by Swat teams
of various police departments, 3) ask that District Atty. Jenkins be reprimanded for dismissing a concerned citizen whose
sole intent was to see that some relevant information be passed on to the defense team. I really believed that it was not
about "our side winning", but about justice and a search for the truth.
I thank you for the time you have taken to read the eight page account. I have a learning disability and I realize and
I realize that it was perhaps no easy feat to read through my account. I have had assistance in sending this addendum.
Sincerely yours,
Ricardo Juarez
